The Olmsted Legacy Trail was created in October 2013 to better document the many different projects undertaken by Frederick Law Olmsted and the Olmsted Brothers firm in Connecticut. This website would not be possible without the volunteer efforts of many members of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

 

Volunteers have provided photographs of sites, scans of historical plans and graphics, writing of project summaries, coordination with peer organizations, and management of the website itself. The Olmsted Legacy Trail would like to acknowledgement the following individuals in no particular order:
